Please halt profanities and obscenities. You jeopardize the board and will be banned.

If you a post to edit (clean up) please do so.

This includes purposely misspelled words to beat the bad words filter.

I know that it is your board but I don't understand this. I get moderating malicious mean spirited stuff but the occasional curse word is so trivial. Are there really that many 10 year olds browsing the boards? Look at the biggest message board forums... Rivals, Reddit, Digg. Even ESPN isn't very strict. I am not trying to be arguementative but if thecommunity is going to grow I just don't see it happening if everything has to be PG rated.

All the respect int the world and it is your prerogative but I don't get it.

Doesn't the board automatically censor unless you are signed in and manually turn the filter off? At least I think that's how it used to work.

guys... nobody is sitting here paying brad for ads...

 

google in all of its wisdom... scans for profanity among other nonsense to see where THEY will AUTOMATICALLY post their ads.

 

Its simple: someone buys keywords and subjects and google handles placement (which is why u see other colleges ads)... Just don't curse or say dumb stuff... its for the good of all

Grown ups are actually the ones that use obscenity. But my ??? was about someone getting killed. What did you mean by that?
