You never know what happened in practice. It's possible that those who, "quit" showed that they wanted to be there during practice. They've been practicing since spring. Gotta #dosomething on the field. Yes, the defense improved from week one. Offense I'm thinking not. On the positive side, dare I say....at least the Offense can't get any worse. I would like to think you are right about the defense but is it possible that the Mich St offense is worse then McNeese ?

It's hard for an offense that gives up as many points as it scores to get worse. Opposing defenses total: 23 USF offense total:

Hopefully we'll be better than against McNeese and get the same type results as against Mich St. If we give up 7 or less defensively I will feel better - not great since the FAU fan said their offense isn't so wonderful. Opposing defenses total: 23 USF offense total: 29 Plus throw in the safety on the bad snap and Shaw's fumble at the 7 vs McNeese and the punt to the 22 yardline vs MSU. That is 39 points that really is not attributable to the defense.
