For me its if we lose to FAU. What if its the underclassman that are the quitters?

The ones who bring their lunch pail to the game and dig in the trenches."

Good stuff though, carry on.

For me its if we lose to FAU. I think that would be an overreaction. I think CWT will make examples of a couple of slackers but they will not want to give the impression all is lost. Its not. We will struggle year but we should hope for steady improvements. O'leary lost every game his first year. Lets hope we don't have to experience that. That would really test the fan base. Fan Base?! We got 22k to a home opener with a new coach...with $8 tickets and 10k of that was students who were there to get drunk primarily. Fan base!? Fan Base!? Don't talk to me about fan base!? lol It was nuked into oblivion last year. Which shows exactly how fragile this fan base is. A 3-9 year shouldn't nuke any kind of fanbase into oblivion ... Agree wholeheartedly BBB, however, the loss sustained at the hands of McNeese hurts big time. Still have to support the team. Once conference play starts that is when we will see how we stack up. Downgraded to AAC. Worst loss and to an FCS team. I know we were being left in bad shape, but had no clue how bad it was. Not to be fair weather, but last year took a toll on me. Losing 5 games where we had a lead in the 4th, killed me. Now this start in game one of the year. I won't be going to as many games this year unless the product improves quickly. I am too passionate about USF football to allow myself that level of disappointment. I can stomach a few losses to good teams a year, but not this much of a low. My tailgating will be minimized. I'll be giving away more of my tickets to people who want to attend. I guess each of us handles this grief in different ways. I don't think many changes will make a difference. I believe our talent pool is a bit drained as I know Taggart can get a lot out of guys and they seem motivated by him. So I am going to chalk it up to us having quite a few holes in both the offense and defensive side of the ball. As Freshman rarely start, and given how recruiting works, it might be 2015 before we sniff a bowl game again.

However, that should not include burning redshirts and losing a year of eligibility. Look what happened when we burned Eveld's redshirt.

Many people don't want to waste their money and precious Saturday evenings on a horrible product. Life is too short! A coach does not guarantee a change right away, but lets be real, it was McNeese state, and it wasn't just a "loss" it was a blowout and a new record low for USF. To just chalk last week up as a loss, as many are doing, diminishes the significance of the loss. This made ugly look pretty.
