There is no question that Willie is very plugged into the Harbaugh family and learned pretty much everything he knows as a player and coach from them.

I am hoping it transfers over a great deal.  But time will tell.

What, BJ wasn't a good player before Harbaugh?

Have you missed the last 3 or 4 years? Many on this very board in not so many words said BJ Daniels was the worst qb to ever play the game? Go back and remind yourself if you have to.

I disliked BJ as much as anybody, but this preseason has made it more apparent Skip simply didn't know how to use him. I'm glad BJ is slowly forcing me to eat every negative word I ever said about him.

Guilty.

I knew that BJ was a player, always gave his all, and had some skills. His accuracy HAS improved under the Harbaugh coaching staff, but I didn't think he could improve as much as I've seen so far.

Which gives me hope that the same teaching (technique and philosophy) will get Floyd and the BULLS where we need to be this year.

I loved BJ I didn't think he had a great shot but he did land in perfect place.

Watching his play in preseason makes me sad Willie didn't get a year with him.

Also makes me more encouraged about Floyd. BJ went from decently good college QB to looking like a well polished rookie QB that could realistically be in the league a long time even if primarily a backup. Probably playing as well as any rookie QB aside from maybe Manuel and Ryan Griffin from Tulane with the Saints.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
