Does anyone know if there is a group that gathers at a sports bar to watch the Bulls around the northeastern section of Atlanta?  I spoke with someone from the area last Thanksgiving and he mentioned that a group got together but I can't remember where they meet. Maybe somewhere around the Cumming/Alpharetta area.  Up here sports bars are my only hope to watch them play.

Recently moved to Atlanta and met up with the Atlanta chapter. Short answer: Yes! The Atlanta Alumni chapter will be watching games at Meehan's in Atlantic Station this year.

Long answer: Atlanta is georgraphically spread out with most Bulls living anywhere from Midtown to Alpharetta. There was a challenge in terms of finding a place willing to accomodate a group, designated specifically for the Bulls, in a good location. This year we are trying Meehans, in Atlantic station by the split.

Come out for the McNeese St game. Meet the chapter leadership and fellow bulls. If you can make it a regular thing awesome. If not, I'll at least hopefuly see you around here and there.

Thanks for the info.  I've been up here six years and I've been to Atlanta one time.  Guess I'll have to bite the bullet and head on down.

I believe this year the chapter is trying out another "official" lineup.

 

There is no perfect spot because it will always be too far for someone. The idea is to pick a place that will make us feel at home, and will cater to our needs to so that it will be worth the drive for that far away person.

 

I am planning on attending that first game and MSU watch party at Meehans

Didn't read hm101's post ... Sorry about that. Will have to check out meehans. I live in Gwinnett and its probably about the same to Atl station as it is to Millers, just interstate instead of back roads.
