Curious what you think our September record would be...

Any team with a solid defense will beat us. Michigan state is supposed to be pretty stout.

I know the game isnt in september, but watch out for memphis. They had the best defense in c-usa last year and return a lot on defense. That game i wouldnt be shocked if we list

And most likely I'd know my reservations about the DC were well founded. I really hope they aren't though, been a long offseason to wait and watch garbage.

Never seen a high combined score game??????????? The USF offense could put a 50 burger on them and if the defense can't stop them from answering then its a defense issue, not an offense issue that decides the game. Watch the La Tech-aTm game from last year, aTm' defense allowed what, 9 TDs?

Responsibility wise sure, which goes back to my wanting him to not wait until the offseason to apply personnel changes if the defense obviously isn't being well coached.

As much as I argued that speaking of replacing The DC before he started is a dumb convrsation, if we give up 50 to FAU I will be right there with you. They have a new QB, 6 out of their 8 top OL from last year are gone. Sort of like FIU a few years ago when they had Hilton, FAU has a stud receiver. Take him out of the game and they have little offense.

Little bit of trivia: At the time of his graduation, a guy name Charles Pierre was FAU's all time leading rusher. That would be the older brother of Mike Pierre.

Completely new OL with a pretty inexperienced QB. Should be fun for Lynch's "Green Plague" defense.

One other thing, FAU did upset Willie T last year.

We should be 2-2.

Right now, the offense is too much of an unknown to say how we will perform against better competition like MSU and UM.

Minimum is 2-2,  Best case is 4-0.  (not far fetched either).  

 

Anything less and it will be a LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG season.

1-3 is possible but would obviously be a disappointment

2-2 would be nice and is in my opinion doable

3-1 is a stretch but possible

I know we have questions on offense, but our defense isn't that bad guys... yes, last year we had some kind of issue where the D only played for about 45 or 50 minutes of the game.

 

If we can limit turnovers on offense - and with Floyd at QB that could be a big IF - then the MSU and Miami games might not reach 30 combined points.
