Everyone knows Lynch is going to be a 1 and done, so there's no point to argue that. We're going to be thin after this year. Maybe we can get a couple JUCO's to play right away.

Pointing out that the "powers that be" who already started talking about the next NFL draft have Lynch as a first rounder. If he does well enough, it'll be tough to keep him for another year.

Think it's great we have some strong mentors on the line this year. Since the Selvie/JPP days, we really haven't had much experience & talent show up, so I'm glad to have what we have this year, and that they're working pretty hard for CWT. Can't hurt the younger guys' development to play against these guys and learn. We'll be thinner, but I don't think we'll have a lot of question marks--these kids appear to be pretty solid backups now, as long as they stay healthy. Guess we'll see in a fewof months...

If Lynch leaves, it will be a very young group at DE -- Lee, Perry, Mike Love and then Eric Mayes in January. I'd think USF should be able to land a top-tier DE (perhaps even from juco) in this class in anticipation of playing-time opportunities.
