How do we stack up after this season?  I feel like we have a lot of players graduating... what's everyone's opinion for a depth chart with current players only that are on our roster?

We're going to be thin at DE after this season.

We lose Giddens, Forte, and Mims to graduation.  I'd say right now that there's a 95% chance Aaron Lynch leaves early after the season.

Those are likely the top 4 guys at DE and they're all gone.

We need to be recruiting some guys to play next year right now.

The guy hasn't played a down in almost two years.  Aren't we getting just a wee bit ahead of ourselves?

While I think he is good enough to be drafted, I think this is very similiar to Darrell Scott. Lynch will be one and done, even if he hasn't earned a high draft pick.

The only way I can see him staying is if he has a season ending injury very early on. Otherwise, he'll be gone.

None of us knows what Lynch will do after a season that hasn't even started yet.  Let's hope, though, that he has a season where he can be a high draft pick, that could only bode well for USF.*

* - I realize JPP is the highest draft pick we've had, and it came after a year where we had some bad losses, but I think at this point, we'd all kill to have the record we had after that year.

Everyone knows Lynch is going to be a 1 and done, so there's no point to argue that. We're going to be thin after this year. Maybe we can get a couple JUCO's to play right away.

I believe Eric Mayes did not make it in (though he is said to enroll this coming January), Guito Ervilus was moved to TE, Zach Bullock was moved to LB last year.

From my recollection Mike Love, Eric Lee, Daniel Perry, and Edsel Caprice (I believe he was moved back to DE?) are the scholarship DE that are in school now and should be with us again next year.

You are correct, Eric Mayes is still coming in January, which is great news considering he was one of our top commits this past class. And I hope Caprice wasn't moved to DE, he's way to undersized at 6'2" and 215lbs..

Don't forget about Mike Love.  Countryside kid can play.
