I want to see us put up triple digits on McNeese

The only real beat down they got last season was against FCS #6 Sam Houston State. All the other losses were close including one by newcomer to FBS UTSA.

First time in Chicago and a great game at Notre Dame. It was my first road game I traveled to. The only thing that stunk was the weather and long delays. I got scared at the end there too. I was worried we'd blow the lead.

I was scared of that too but rewatching the game it seems to me now we were more in control than I thought during the end of the game.

Interesting. Sam Houston State played in the National Championship game (lost). It was on ESPNU last night.

I had people over for that game too. It really was a weird atmosphere with those delays. In fact I remember a game of Trivial Pursuit breaking out during one of the delays Because I was driving people crazy with my impatience.

Weren't they winning 10 to 7  at half in 2006?  A decisive win would be enough for me.

I think they actually pulled ahead late in the 3rd or early in the 4th.  Only remember for sure that  Matt was taking charge when the team needed it.

I want to see the pedal to the metal, the boot on the throat, unrelentless, never let up, let's grind their faces into the dirt mentality.
