However, he's the coach, I'm the fan. I'm prepared in case what I want and what he does are different. Well, I expect Do Something to be more than words. He served as the defensive coordinator for three seasons from 2005-07 after spending his first season with the club as a defensive assistant. Bresnahan helped the Bengals capture their FIRST DIVISION TITLE IN 17 YEARS in 2006. Bresnahan went to Cincinnati after six successful seasons with the Oakland Raiders. He started with the Silver and Black in 1998, when Gruden took over as head coach, coaching defensive backs for two seasons (1998-99). Gruden promoted Bresnahan to defensive coordinator in 2000 and he served in that position until 2003. The Raiders WON THREE STRAIGHT AFC WESTERN DIVISION TITLES AND PLAYED IN Super Bowl XXXVII with Bresnahan as defensive coordinator. Not too shabby

If he didn't win eight straight Super Bowls while his defense led the NFL in yards, turnovers and points, we want someone better.

In one year from #10 to #29. And the year after he was gone? #18. Edited July 20, 2013 by slick1ru2

Players getting injured, leaving via free agency, strength of schedule, etc. Would love to know the whole story. Plus, the Cincy situation ... Seems like they neglected their defense for years since Marvin Lewis has been coach, which is crazy because he was a longtime D coordinator himself. Could have had poor personnel while CB was there. He has the players with this USF defense. Heck, I can coach this defense and do better then we did last year. We will be an improved team defensively.
