Yes, I remember that bookstore very well.

 

What else would you like to see on campus that is not academic (buildings) or athletic (stadiums) in nature similar to MLK plaza and the statue?  What about other statues similar to MLK?  A bell/clock tower?  Water fountain?  Outdoor art?  The non building landmarks that stick out to me are MLK statue, Marshall Center Bulls, water tower, solar rotary.

 

What about a war memorial to honor grads that have given the ultimate sacrifice?  I think a war memorial tower would be very special.

I was thinking clock tower until you mentioned the water tower.

 

It would be relatively simple to scaffold the water tower, and put bricks up around it to make it into an iconic landmark.

 

In any event, we need some kind of tower that can be used on logos, etc.

I've always thought it would be cool to add some high powered lights in the glass atrium of the bookstore so that it is lit up at night time.
