The Big East bet against ESPN, and lost.

NBC bet against ESPN, and lost.

Every streak ends, eventually. Who's next?

NCAA can't stop this snowball.

It is my opinion that ESPN obviously has a plan, to own college sports, and is working it to perfection.

I agree with most of this, but when it comes to the BE betting against the Big East, I believe ESPN DID have a bit of insider advantage with Pitt's AD - the **** who told BE to, in the words of Maury Ballstein, "screw them - hold out for more."

Just making a slight modification to an otherwise spot on post.  :)

After ESPN systematically destroyed it.

And stripped it for parts.

Great idea. Somebody with Photoshop skillz, please put an AAC logo on our pace car.

Somehow, the AAC (or the league formerly known as the Big East) blog is back. I am not sure if this was a planned thing or if the pressure from all that bombed the other blogs (esp. Stanford's) convinced them to change their minds.

Interesting.

The link is in the upper menu bar, but not in the right-hand pullout box.

Half-measures

I've been using other sources to keep up on info; Greg Auman, athlon, /r/cfb, bleacher report etc and have even been toying with getting a 247 account since ESPN dropped our coverage and dismantled our conference. I still feel a little icky going to ESPN.com, but I'm genuinely glad to see that our conference will be represented on the #1 sports news network website.
