Did you forget that while UCF was destroying CUSA and USF was mediocre in the Big East, USF was 4-0 over UCF and it wasn't close?

 

This pretty much sums it up

 

But add to that... one of the years that they won the CUSA championship was the 64-12 beat down.

 

How does they beat Ball St last year sum it up?

 

USA Today Headline last year:

 

UCF dismantles Ball State in Beef O' Brady's Bowl

 

 

Tampa Trib headline a few months earlier:

 

Ball State Cardinals shock USF Bulls 31-27

USF was mentioned the last three years, even picked by AA to win it last year.   All that matters is what happens on the field.  I still find it hard to believe that UCF can compete for the title.

Hilarious. You defend a USF loss to a MAC team because it was a home game for them? I hope you have a stronger argument than that. Especially after the International Bowl game where USF dismantled NIU. You are living in the past. Its now. UCF is seen by outsiders as currently stronger than USF. Those without emotional ties.

So your using a relative theory to say UCF is better than USF? Didnt we have some stupid program that did this on a website a few months ago? We all got some good laughs out of that.

UCF is still playing with CUSA talent. They will not do nearly as well as they think they will.

A slight defense of that game could have been it was the perfect example of a trap game ....but the way the rest of the season played out, it probably wasn't a big factor.

I'm not saying that you're right or wrong, but, "sports writers and analysts" get it wrong all the time.  Prime example, how many preseason number ones win the National Championship?

UCF's RB and QB ranking at 3 and 2 in the conference. No one even knows who is starting in those positions for USF.
