The defense definitely looked impressive, especially in the 1st half.

lack of a real d 1 qb was holtz's downfall

 

That and playing "not to lose".  There is probably a litany of things though.

I'll take the glass half full approach and say that the defense was just so good that they made an awesome offense look bad....

I watched practice field goal attempts…No one stood out and legs looked weak….Don’t think existing players can be consistent  from  30 yard line…several attempts from ball placed on center of the field (straight ahead) 40 yard line missed…. With that said..

If I remember correctly Emilio Nadelman  class 2013 signed recruit has 50 yard capability…I expect him to probably start  and not be red shirted…

What was the longest run from scrimmage?

 

Any field goals made?
