I read somewhere that the C7 take the credits they receive in this tourny with them. Supposedly, it doesn't help us at all financially.

I read somewhere that the C7 take the credits they receive in this tourny with them. Supposedly, it doesn't help us at all financially.

 

All teams share in the winnings.  So even if the C7 take their share, we'll still get our share with every win.

I wonder what the Catholic Big East and the TBA Metro Conference will be considered? Not sure "mid-majors" fits either (especially if we have Louisville and Memphis next year).

I'll miss the occasional bursts of glory, like making the big dance last year and beating Georgetown this year. True, we never came close to raising our game to Big East level, and that was a big disappointment, but still ...

I'll miss having quality conference mates to root for in OOC games.

 

Except for Rutgers, that is.

 

One of the best parts about being in a conference (and being ranked, too) is that it games we're not in can still be meaningful. If I don't care who wins, why bother watching non-USF games anyway?

 

The major problem is that nobody still wants to be here, and everybody is positioning for a P4 invite. This is not a stable conference.

 

I hope the AAC generates some good OOC victories while we're in it, and that we're in many of those victories.

 

We may be here for a while, so unless and until they call-up comes, we should enjoy it.
