Our maintenance crew does an amazing job at fixing and maintaining the weights and machines. The rec looks nice in this pic, lighting really fixes the "meh" look it has in the day light. Unpainted concrete doesn't look nice.

I can only imagine what it'll be like when they start working on the 2nd phase, redoing the north half and expanding it.

A greasy Philadelphia boxing gym was enough for Rocky to beat Apollo Creed. Although since our mascot is Rocky, the comparison makes my head hurt.
