I was really hoping for Island of MIsfit Toys.

 

Putting a number in a conference seems very short-sighted in this time of team movement.

The conference name should be simey and officially:

"The Big"

Commentary will sound mike this....

"USF won The Big title"

"USF is The Big champion"

Who would not want to be called "The Big" champion???

It will be "The Big" rivalry week and "The Big" rivalry games.

Everything just sound much more awesome when you put "The Big" before it.

America 12 is a TERRIBLE name.

Metropolitan 12 even is better; M12 or mxii.

So I guess this stupid name is official... I can see that the millions in salaries that are paid to the leaders of this train wreck conference really spent a lot of time evaluating a new conference name.

 

Must have taken them like 2 seconds... 

 

Commish - "What should our new name be?"

Intern - "How about team America, lol"

Commish - "Bam I like it! Now slap that on a lunch box and get to work Jimmy"

Intern - "My name is Doug, and I was just joking"

Commish - "Who cares Steve, now if you will excuse me I have wasted too much time on this non-sense already... I don't get paid for this kinda of busy work, I get paid to play golf, kiss babies, and pickup hookers"
