New Name Conference

I'm actually liking "America 12" as a new conference name. If they would have named it Big 11, Big 12 and Big 10 fans would still make fun of it. You are never going to please everyone and at least it's a simple and clean name. Plus it will be one of the first conferences listed when you check conference standings.

I would have preferred AAC, but A12 still gets us the preferred location. I'm good with this.

I prefer the Metro Sports or Metro-12.  The "America" conference is too milktoast.  It says nothing about the member institutions.  If our strategy is an urban focus, we should embrace that fact in our name.  We are not land grant schools.

How about the American Metro Conference, AMC for short. Brand it like they do at AMC the Network. We can be the Walking Dead!!

Metro Conference as new conference name wouldn't work because the elimination games before the big conference championship game would be called metro sectionals and that'd sound stupid.
