Big Metro works for me.  Keep the "Big" from the Big East and ties into the old Metro conference which had a positive image and some brand recognition.  Big East Football has a negative image so I'm glad its gone and we got $30M for leaving it behind.  Looking forward to a fresh start. 

 

Metro or Big Metro are my favorites also.

We also fix transmissions!

 

Seriously though, we really need to be ahead of the ACC in the alphabetical listings. It's a small thing, but will pay unproportionate dividends.

Since we will no longer be the Big East, doesn't that do away with any exit fees for teams remaining after the split? Not that it matters any right now, but we are being pushed out.

My choice for a new name is "Team America". No need for the word conference, and instead of a team of individuals, it is a team of schools.

 

F**K YEAH!!  :D

Aamco Metro Conference gives us branding opportunities with AAMCO and AMC theatres.

That conference had the same Basketball/ football issues as the Big East had. let it stay dead.

THis conference would be absolutely stupid not to sell the naming rights along with a generic name

In all seriousness, a sponsor could have their logo on 12 teams' fields if they are willing be the highest bidder. Not to mention their brand will be mentioned on the news whenever our games our mentioned.

I can see our conference generating some serious cash with this agreement, which could trickle down and get each team some revenue.

Now is the time for Aresco and our conference to start thinking outside of the box to get money.

Any Idea how much Alstate  pays to have its logo on the field goal net???

 

Lots of exposure there..as a starting point in the analysis
