Not much they can do." the brand of baseball they're playing is atrocious. Game 1 vs Louisville: 5 errors, 5 walks, 3 hit batsmen, 3 wild pitches Game 3 vs Indiana: 6 walks, 5 wild pitches, 5 hit batsmen Game 4 vs FSU: 11 walks, 5 wild pitches, 5 hit batsmen, And FSU pulled their starters about halfway through. Game 5 vs FSU: 6 walks, 2 wild pitches, 3 hit batsmen, 2 errors. Game 6 vs FSU: 5 walks, 1 wild pitch...and look at that, we only lost by 3. It's amazing what playing fundamentally sound baseball can do for your chances of winning, no matter who you play. In those same 5 losses, here are the combined stats of the other teams, 13 walks, 4 wild pitches, 1 hit batsmen, 5 errors.

I'm not happy with the state of baseball either, but this is like the end of the first quarter in the first game of the season and we are playing in Tally and people are already jumping ship. I worry that this trend will continue again this season.

Tampa every year just as a litmus test for our program.

Maybe not the terrible pitching we've seen so far, but 1-5 wasn't a stretch. Nobody thought we'd win a game in Tallahassee. I'm not saying this is acceptable either. Our real season starts tomorrow vs UCF (which I'm assuming will beat us). Prado gets this year and then the Administration will make a decision. You can't replace him at this part of the season, especially with unproven Lance Carter or Chris Heintz as the replacements. Let the season play out. I think it will be a pretty easy decision once the season is over considering none of our starters can make it past the 4th inning, but the Conference Season hasn't even started yet. Would make a bad situation much worse. I have lost faith in Prado but I really hope the boys can turn things around. I have a couple friends on the team and hope they can at least go out there and have a good showing themselves. This is the hard thing with college sports. When you aren't a fan of a coach, you almost find yourself rooting against 18,19, 20 year olds. Unfortunate catch 22.

That is all....
