I'm still looking at going to game but unsure since I'd be going solo from Houston and unsure if I'd fly to Chicago or Detroit. Then taking a bus or whatever needed to get to EL. My friend who graduated from MSU lives in Chicago but still unsure if he can go because of his unique work schedule

Look in to flying in to Flint. We got a great deal on the flights and a car.

We (4 total) are heading the EL for the game as well.  Can't wait!  There needs to be a Friday get together somewhere in EL.

Booked plane tix weeks ago, chiming in. GF's (USF alum) best friend lives up there (and she attended MSU), so I got the room/board covered, they live just outside of East Lansing.

 

Getting tickets this week, likely in or near the USF section (didn't wanna subject her to us, but still want to be near the Bulls fans).

 

Not sure of the rules and whatnot for their on campus tailgating and such, and it's a nooner so not going to lug around grills and stuff, but I know there is usually some sort of USF "area" or agreed upon meeting spot. Would be nice to put some faces to names or at least have a common area to hang out before the game.

 

edit - I think we're flying Southwest on Thursday night around 7:30 and flying back Monday, making a bit of a visit out of it.

Southwest directly in to Flint, or check Chicago/Detroit- then take MegaBus to East Lansing (there's a stop there and the tickets are usually a couple bucks).

The Men's soccer team is playing Michigan in Ann Arbor the night before the game on Sept 6th. Anyone thinking of going to that game?
