I love the way our basketball team has looked recently...

...but it is kind of scary how dependent our offense is on Anthony Collins. I mean, there is literally no rythym within our offense when he is off the court. The announcer for the game last night kept commenting on this...

"The Bulls are gonna turn the ball over here if Collins doesn't touch the ball."

"This offense is broken without Collins in."

He's right. We are way too dependent on him. I think Blake Nash might be our biggest loss from last year's team. AC takes a beating throughout the game because of how outstanding his effort is, so there is no way we can depend on him playing every game this season. The George Mason game was proof of that. If we want to be a tournament team, we need to be able to function without his presence.

Need interior rebounding and defense too. Hopefully Egbunnu and Perry can help out with that next year as well.

That win last night really helped out our RPI.. up to 68 now.

We need to work on boxing-out and rebounding. That sick Isaiah Sykes dunk in the 2nd half of last night's game was because noone boxed that kid out from the post.

That and his man also slipped on the play giving him a wide open lane.

Feel like this is a rebuilding year, lacking the backup point and a big man or 2, both holes look like they'll be filled next year.

But at 9-3 we're set for another postseason run with a respectable record in conference.

Martino Brock is very serviceable at point...but they need to run a different offense with him at the helm. Maybe a motion offense where Martino does not need to handle the ball throughout the shot clock. Can't expect Martino to dribble drive off a screen like AC in the last ten seconds of the shot clock, because that's not Martino's game.

I would love to see Rudd bringing the ball up court as he is not a bad ball handler. It could put the defense out of their defensive set as well having our 4 spot bringing the ball up court.

A good backup point guard would be nice, but can we get a center that can do more than stand on the court in blow outs?

Rudd doesn't do a bad job with the ball in his hands, but Nash would have been nice to have held onto from last year.
