LOL ... You want Petrino but then you say this? Look at his time with the Atlanta Falcons ... You obviously have no idea what you are talking about or what you are even saying. I'm not sure how the Atlanta Falcons have anything to do with bowl games? Exactly ... Two totally different scenarios. Not coaching a post season bowl game for coaches moving on is a standard procedure. Bailing out on your team before the end of the season to go to a different job is chickenshit. Even the Devil himself, Saban, didn't do that .... Petrino is a ****.

The man quit on his team. There aren't many worse sins in team sports .... **** Petrino. Taggart just did that. He got his guys to their first bowl game and said sorry I'm not going to help you prepare for it. I know this is common but I've always thought it is ********. I think coaches should be forced to stay until the last is over! No. Short of winning a couple BE Championships, USF is Taggart's ceiling. He will need to achieve greatness here before someone hires him away. And by that time hopefully we are back on track. Petrino would only need one decent season before sneaking away to a bigger fish. He doesn't care about the program, he only cares about himself. He's an *******. You want that guy leading our program? Hell no. if you put 100 ad's in a room and ask them to choose taggert or petrino 100 would choose petrino ONLY WOOLARD AND USF WOULD CHOOSE TAGGERT this is not to say taggert wont go on to be great coach usf look like fools to anyone following this mess usf needs new leadership At times I think you troll just to troll. Other times I think you're just being a ******* moron .... this is one of those times. 100 out of 100?? Are the only things you pay attention to in college football, USC, Rutgers and USF? Why isn't he working at Tennessee, or Wisconsin, or Kentucky, or any of the other jobs that were available this month that Petrino would no doubt find more desirable? USF with Willie Taggert or WKU with Bobby Petrino? Who do you think wins more games in 2013 or 2014? Scared money never makes money. Should have hired Petrino. Well that's not even close. Bobby Petrino is an offensive genius and proven winner at all his stops in CFB. He's a guy that can consistently build a top 10 winner and with the right resources can put a team in position to win a National Championship. Taggart is labeled as a young, up and coming HC that USF is hoping can build their program into a consistent winner. Petrino is a creep but he can coach with the best of them on the offensive side. Coming from a guy that coached under Bo Schembechler, won a 1AA National Championship as a head coach, has 2 sons that are considered 2 of the best NFL head coaches and whose son in law is currently head coach of the #1 ranked basketball team in the country (Tom Crean, Indiana), I'll take that endorsement from a guy that obviously knows pretty good coaches over some internet message board guys that have no understanding of the facts and have no vision of the future for the University. The more I learn about Taggart, the more I'm impressed with him.

In the present time, Petrino > Taggart. as a head coach is the "not even close" Having said that, Taggart certainly has the opportunity to prove what he can do on the almost high major level that is USF FB. Petrino is proven, but Taggart has the chance to make his resume look better. I believe he'll be successful but only time will tell.
