This is a terrible hire. There are bigger names and better coaches out there. Looks like USF took the cheap way . The program has not upgraded one bit with the hiring of Taggart. Looks like a lot of

didnt taggart lose to fau this year?? 4 out of his 5 losses came from inconference. We are taking a guy who hasnt even dominated the level hes at as our next head coach. I don't care if he won 7 games but he lost 4 games one to FAU..

So you don't care about the wins, only the losses? Makes sense. By the by, he beat Auburn's brand new coach this season.

I love this hire. Look what he did with WKU and where he took them. Add his local ties and the coaches he has to lean, Harbaugh family, and you really peak my interest!

Petrino was my first choice. I am always willing to over look some personal transgressions. That being said i am body and soul behind a guy who seems to to be a great human being and and a transcendent young coach. As to this little wenises who are trying to shat all over the hire already.
