I know they haven't produced, but I do feel badly for the seniors that there will be no more than 15,000 people in the stands on Dec 1. As football fans could care less about the 2 last place BE teams, the game will probably be a nooner which will knock a couple thousand more fans from attending. This may be the first time in USF history that the announced attendance will be more than double the actual attendance. It is a very sad time for our Bulls.

Don't feel sorry for them for that reason, they're just as responsible for our issues. Anyone who thinks otherwise is nuts.

Feel bad for them because they've gone down with a whimper.

When will this administration wake up and stop the bleeding.

The way the majority of our fans handled 8-4 seasons, I don't feel bad for us either...

Nothing is ever good enough for most on here.

How do you do that in the middle of a season?

Option 1: Fire the head coach. Result - you lose the next 2 games anyway, lose more recruits than you would after a crappy season like this and still finish in the basement.

Option 2: Fire the DC. So one of the assistants gets moved up to DC, they run the same schemes since you can't change that with 2 games to go. You lose the last 2 games and finish in the basement.

Option 3: Fire the AD, the coach and the DC. Everyone on here jumps up and down, yells "Thank God" and the team goes out and loses the last 2 games and finishes in the basement.

You need to just accept that the patient is going to bleed out this year, take our butt whippings at the hands of Pitt and Cinci and then hope things get better next year.

There really isn't any other choice.

You're going to lose recruits if you fire Holtz at any time. Considering we have a half full class right now that is not optimal. Also not optimal is what skip will finish this class with if allowed to stay.

As to the topic, the seniors that have played definitely could have done better. However, they're not the ones with poor clock management, playing for field goals, poor defensive schemes, etc. none of the kids have been out in positions to succeed consistently.
