Play calling / Game management was horrible. Skip blew thru the Time outs early in the 2nd half only to need more time because they could not run out the clock, Gave Louisville Time after we took a lead late in the game and our defense went into hybernation. Than we put the game in BJ's hands with NO TIME OUTS and little time.

Horrible all around. This has been the case since Holtz's first season. Look back to all the home games we lost in the past 2 years plus this year.

Time to Bench BJ, Get the back up QB Time to develope. Fire the coacching staff to let the recruits know we are going to do whatever is needed to get back to winning. If we Keep Skip and company we will start seeing players decommit. Think about the future!!!!

agreed. That final timeout that Skip wasted even after we had a first down (thus stopping the clock anyways) was downright embarassing. Just piss poor coaching.

We don't have a backup QB that will start next year. Holtz is certainly pulling the "give me one year with MY qb recruit as the starter" card. Woulard will be the starter next year unless he goes elsewhere.

Agreed- the whole "give him time to get his guys in there" argument fails. I don't have the exact numbers but there was post a few weeks ago stating that Skip's classes were ranked somewhere in the 60's. JL's were 30's-40's.

This team is losing 10 in a row.....there is no doubt now. The body language, everything that we are seeing on that field equates to what we are witnessing right now.

This team should be 1-5 and Holtz is the one who will be taking the responsiblity (hopefully) after the season ends. I'd rather just fire him now though. I've seen enough of him.

I believe in his interview that I saw on Greg's blog Skip said that BJ checked off the called play twice. If I remember correctly, hard to put it all on play calling.

Someone close to the program told me back when he was a Freshmen that he will always lean toward calling his own number. Always has had that confidence. That is a mixed bag when you are in a team game.

I'm certainly not one that thinks that this is the worst loss ever, but with the losses continuing to pile up, I can't fault those for whom the lines have blurred a bit at this point ...

It's not that we lost, it's that we lost again (twelve and counting) late in fourth quarter when we had a lead or were tied. It's the fact that our defense gave it up, oh so sweet, like a high school prom date. I say we start calling Cosh and Holtz "Sugar" cuz they give it up, oh so sweet, to the opposition.
