It's college football, not the NFL. You can win running the QB and passing less. BJ is better than Collin Klein at KSU, but Snyder is 10 times the coach so he plays to Klein's strengths.

BJ can be inconsistent throwing the ball, so the staff should be building a power running team to take the ball out of his hand. I haven't seen that offense either.

oh you see it-- in spurts -- followed by us going back to the passing game for no reason whatsoever

We rushed for 197 yards tonight, BJ had exactly zero of those yards. This is 2012, you at least need a QB that can manage the game, the way the Temple QB did to us. BJ misses open receivers five yards from the line of scrimmage.

how about the great play calling ? hopkins 3 yards behind line of scrimmage after we run down their throat. brilliant call.

high risk. low reward.easily could have been turned over for 6. nearly killed the kid. all for what was going to be -3 yards.

why on gods green earth do you pass 37 times when you average 4.5 yards per carry?? our oline can't pass block for ****

close tonight.

don't get the 37 pass plays when we averaged 4.5 ypc and why we don't run play clock down is beyond me.

KSU averages 62.8 plays per game. almost dead last in country. we average 71.4. you would think we would want to limit the # of opportunities the other teams get. no we almost always snap with 15+ left on play clock. we had 81 plays tonight. run an extra 5 seconds per play and they don't have that 5 minutes in the end to drive the field. play it close and you better make sure you have the ball last.

our coaches do a terrible job managing the clock. good coaches will leave nothing on the clock for their opponent. we always leave just enough for a drive to win.

That goal lines stand defines this team - PATHETIC.

We have the smallest backs in FBS try to but through the middle. Stoopid.... Poor coaching, not the QB. He scored on his first attempt only to have it called back.

The two biggest issues with BJ as I see them is first he is a mediocre pass QB. Plane to see that he just cannot throw a decent ball consistently. The second is his inability to see the entire field. He decides before getting to the line if he is going left or right and that is it. He never looks off a defender, never looks to the opposite side of the field.

Perfect example was tonight when they commented that USF needed to run a double move to break open a long play on a defender jumping the route. We go trips right, solo left, BJ never even looked away. You can call it every time.

LOL!

That is the best laugh I have had in a while... BJD is not even in the same universe as Klein... Klein is a REAL QB that can actually hit a wide open WR, whereas BJD is a poor mans Pat White

BJ Daniels brings more to the table for USF than you realize. BJ led this team on a long scoring drive to put USF AHEAD with 3:09 left only to have our HORRID Defense implode once again and give up that lead in less than a minute and a half.

In the 3rd Quarter, BJ led a long drive to pull USF within 4 (14-10). Two minutes later, Louisville was up 21-10 as D gave up long TD drive.

No matter how many times BJ Daniels got us the lead, this PATHETIC defense would blow it once again.

Fire HOLTZ for this debacle.

The first set of stats is BJ last season. The second set is Collin Klein last year. Very similar (and BJ slightly more accurate) except Klein ran 185 times more (an extra 15 carries a game) despite a lower ypc.

Klein is better this year, but these guys aren't worlds apart as passers. One is used well and had better OL.

Yep. And we had a guy jumping up and down he was so wide open.

Just curious, when was the last time BJ completed 11 passes in a row?
