The official athletics schedule has the men play Eckerd on November 5th.

But then on the Sun Dome website they have us scheduled to play an exhibition game on October 28 against Miami (not sure if that's Ohio or Florida).

That's less than two weeks away. I wonder what's going on.

If it's the canes, that would be a really cool ending to homecoming week.

I also think they could get a few K into the stands if athletics really cared. However, I really don't think they'll try.

basketball team does play in sundome vs Eckerd on Nov5. It's playing a scrimmage vs Miami (FL) on Sunday Oct28. Its seems Heath brought USF team down to play Miami in scrimmage last year, and this is the return game. I spoke to John Lewis in USF Athletic office last week about this. He is not sure if the Miami scrimmage will be open to public. Sometimes these scrimmages are close to the public.

Just tweeted at Greg. I think it'd be a great idea to open it up, but I can see why they wouldn't. Not sure if Miami would want it open either.

I think they play one or two of these scrimmages every year and they're never open to the public .... besides, that would mean Miami fans and UCF fans in our brand "new" facility in a 5 day span. Talk about killing the new car smell...

I know Eckerd will be open. But, it's been taken down. I'm assuming this is not open to the public.

It's possible that they have the scrimmage open to the public but don't tell the public about it. I think that there's NCAA rules against having more than a certain number of official scrimmages. This thought comes from the men's soccer scrimmage against Orlando City that wasn't announced earlier this year.

Eckerd's an exhibition game, not a scrimmage, that's been officially on the schedule for a while ...

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.
