If you didn't want USF to make more money off the game that had the highest demand I guess that is your perogative but seems kind of silly.

My season tickets (4 each) show 5 games @ $45 and one game of $50, so that's $275/sheet.

4 season tickets should be worth $ 1,100, but the university charges me $964.

That's $136 less than face value, or $34 less per season ticket.

I seem to recall other instances of IAA tickets not being priced the same as IA tickets (CUSA, etc)

in the past. I don't think this is either something new or something we will not see in the future

dependent upon the competition.

They may not have, but why put a different price on the ticket?

..

Because that is what they sold the tickets for that weren't sold as season tickets.....It's not rocket science.

So, on my 6 game tickets, that are all connected on one sheet of paper, USF just decided to put $50 for this game instead of $35 like the other 5 games, just because?

USF began Dynamic Pricing between seasons

Here's the news article about it

http://www.kxxv.com/...dynamic-pricing

The prices printed on the tickets are the "Face Value" of them if they were to be sold individually

All tickets MUST have a face value to them

This is to allow enforcement of scalping/re-sell laws.

Because of the dynamic pricing, the season ticket face value reflects that (the FSU game printed with a higher amount)

Florida law allows for Bulls tickets to be sold for whatever the the buyer is willing to pay.

I think the basketball season tickets have had a lower face value for non-conference games than conference ones for a while ... probably since we entered the BE.
