I've missed one usf football home game in my 4 seasons I've been a student for (wednesday night vs Rutgirls due to a chemistry test) and I have kids texting me, who haven't been to a game this year, and asking me if I'm going and to stop by their tailgate. FACEPALMFACEPALMFACEPALMFACEPALM What is the problem here? They don't actually give a **** about the football program, probably will leave by half time or not make it into the stadium, and will likely not be at another home game all year. These aren't casual fans. They're people that are so oblivious to usf football that casual isn't even on their radar. And no, this weekend will not change their emotions toward the team after we get bent over Jimbo Fishers lap for our spanking. If we were winning and they were bandwagoners I wouldn't care. This past weekend there were a couple of Clemson fans in our section and they got verbally abused a ton. There was also a person wearing a Tim Tebow Gator Jersey (seems like there is one of those at every FSU game, it's pathetic) and he actually got his ass kicked by drunk students and was escorted out of the section. I see the student section pretty full for the most part during games? I'd love our stadium to be packed but that takes alumni and season ticket holders to want to show up, not just students. The students do a good enough job, considering how poor the team is doing and how little the administration does to involve them. We need the casual fans and alumni to step up. Until then, this will never get solved.

The 200 level is full of the drunks that don't make it into the game until the second quarter. I was banished to those seats when I got to a game late last year. The only thing it is full of is empty chairs.
