300s are being used. I know this from a friend who just got his. It's his first sporting event ever and he has zero priority points and still got a ticket. Guess that shows that the tickets weren't really in demand among students if a new student still got one.

It was a lottery. I know a senior who's been to a few games that didn't get one.

If that's the case, just give the rest to students who requested and didn't win. Better than opening up for FSU fans...although the rumored 3,000 left x $51 = $153,000....

Thought so. Almost gave myself a brain cramp trying to figure out how the lottery works. I got mine so I'm happy.

Got a couple questions here regarding student tickets.

Since student tickets are subsidized by university funds (via tuition fees [aka students do not directly pay for tickets]), if a student sells their student ticket for a profit, is that not some kind of fraud or something (not sure the exact legal crime) for profiting off of the school?

Does that also mean they are scalping tickets over face value?

It's much less than 3k at this point...John Lewis confirmed that yesterday. That was a number thrown out yesterday by a dumbass FSU fan on twitter. I agree though that they should just give them to students.

I was wondering where that FSU fan got that from...then a few of his buddies started chiming in about it. Stirring the pot I guess.

how can a student sell their ticket-- you need an ID to get in?

also-- they pay for their tickets indirectly with the campus activity fees per credit hour

It says right on the student ticket "Unlawful resale or attempted resale is grounds for seizure and cancellation without compensation."

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.
