I was listening to the internet feed of 98.7 this morning. Holtz was on at 7:30. Just before he came on one of the hosts made a comment about the loss to Ball State being so ugly that it could be a program changing loss. There was no discussion, it was just a comment. Personally, just being one game I don't see it being that drastic, but if the team continues on the current trend it very well could be looked back upon as such a loss.

First time losing to a non-BCS school in 7 years I believe. It hurt.

Very drastic. One loss, and even another losing season won't kill the program. As a fanbase, we need to stop being so dramatic and realize that USF isnt a major program nationally. Only 16 years in, its still a young program.

It's not the loss, its the way we are trending. It's the direction we are headed. Hoping this is rock bottom. What could be worse? Losing to an FCS team? Going 0-7 in conference?

First time losing to a non BCS team since we've been a BCS team.

I am not sure anyone is saying we are a nationally competitive team, but we should be competitive in our own conference.

At least we don't have a chance to lose to an FCS school until the beginning of next year (McNeese State). If that were to happen (with or without Woulard, Eveld, or Floyd), hold onto your hats.

The web server might just catch fire.

I love Dinger but of all the shows on 98.7, I think that would be the one most clueless about college football, especially USF ...

This reminds me of the year we lost to Army. Its quite possibly the worst loss in the program history. Definitely Top 5....

This could be the loss that broke the Bulls' back
