I think trip would have a meltdown if he saw what some of these other schools 'fan bases' did.

everything discussed on this board is relatively small time

if say a WVU was in our current situation... billboards and paper bags would be child's play

WVU, the program with multiple BE championships and BCS bowl wins?? Unstrap those green and gold goggles, folks. We've had a rough season and a third but it's not like we're some elite program that has taken a sudden nose dive ... and I'm not saying that Skip has a lifelong contract. If this season ends up like last one, I'll certainly understand all the vitriol and won't say a word ... but will still think that next year will be a make or break one for him.

Bingo. USF isn't Florida, Florida State or Miami. It's a relatively new program that was fortunate enough to have unhearaled success over the past 16 years. The entitlement around here is ridiculous.

Never thought I would consider this :(

This is more for pro football. I don't think I have ever seen it in college football.

And that should tell you something about our fan base if we have some seriously considering doing this ...

That we don't accept bad football?

And its been used before in college football....

Let me explain the Louisville situation one more time. They were coming off a 3 year span of a 32-5 record and 2 conference championships so the comparative reasoning is ludicrous .... and it's still bush league in my opinion.

remember when fans would go to a game just to watch the game and not try to become the spectacle?

Personally I don't think I would do the billboard or paperbags myself, but I don't begrudge or think badly of those fans that do. Like it was mentioned in the billboard thread, how else are small time donors or just fans suppose to have their voices heard that they are displeased with the direction of this program? These type of small/silent protests are a good way. Are they embarrasing? Sure, but not on the fanbase. They are embarrassing for USF admin, which is primarily the point.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.
