pitt in 07 was like 47 to 20 or something. grothe broke open the 2nd half with an 80 yard keeper.

that said, pitt is using the VT troll method, they lost to a BCS team and an FCS team, they'll now go 10-2 and win the BE title lol. i suspect they'll be stronger by december, or at the very least have ripped a redshirt off chad voytik and getting him reps.

Yep. Year 2000 and USF was a 28 point dog to the Panthers. Marquel Blackwell and DeAndrew Rubin shredded them. Beano Cook called it the worst loss in Pitt history. Thus began USF's history (with Leavitt at the helm) of taking out highly rated opponents every year.

It was their worst loss in history, until last Saturday

Until I see us stop the run effectively, I'm playing the underdog role. We thought we were going to hang with them last year after starting hot and got embarrassed on ESPN that night...sat next to three Pitt grads at a bar out here and had to buy them a round. One win in the last 5 years doesn't give me the warm and fuzzies.

Unless things have changed... Sunseri will look like a heisman candidate against us

Happens every year.... Would LOVE to be proven wrong for once on that one..

sPitt sucks this year... if we can't beat them then Skip should be put in the hot seat... its his third year and while I don't expect much, I do expect us to beat the basement dwellers of the Beast on a consistent basis at this point.

I will answer that question next Saturday. (for those who are not paying attention, that is after Nevada road game, and Rutgers Thursday night). Many answers will be provided during the next 8 days.

But not enough answers to guarantee a win at Pitt this year. They have had our # most of our time in the BE, I think a little caution in attitude is in order for all of us.

Every game. I've told friends when asked how USF looks this year. I tell them, we have enough talent to win every game, but can make enough mistakes to lose every game.

It has been sheer enjoyment so far up here... at least in my house.
