Which makes sense too.... I was just pulling it from the cobwebs of my head... I thought the ball state series had been moved back once or twice.

Sometimes it has to do with just needing to fill a particular home date and we have to search around to see what teams are`available then and to also make room for the return game in another year. It's not always as easy as some would suggest.

Also, I think this was supposed to be a possible UCF game at the Citrus Bowl, but UCF did not want to deal with the Citrus Bowl anymore.

UCF couldn't do it because they would only have had 5 home games and USF was not playing at UCF for a 1 game series. It just didn't work out. Would have been a great reintroduction for the series.

Don't know which are "tier games" that Skip said that USF is finally about to finish so they could schedule the schools they want to play. Does Ball State fall into that?

Yes... The original Ball State agreement was signed some years ago... I believe it was pre 2007 when no one knew who we were. It was moved more than once due to scheduling conflicts... I believe it was moved for the UF game too.
