Was his backup THAT good to shift him away from the second most important position on the offense? The tackles were getting pushed back regularly against UTC. Not so much the game against us. Find me a respected football analyst that agrees with this statement. A DE doesn't impact a team good enough to make a national title run. Especially when they have such quality depth at DE. What you find are articles on how this is going to be an opportunity for one of the excellent backups to get into the spotlight.
