I don't think I've ever seen a more douche-y quote in a USF article. Ever.

we some teams came out and hit on all cylinders creaming their less talented opponents usc ok st wv etc usf certainly didnt do that and that should bring some concern

Bulls94- why do you even both being a fan? The season isn't even 24 hours old yet- we won a game where the outcome we NEVER in doubt and you are pissing and moaning like we just hit our annual Mid-October Swan Dive.

If you are miserable now- when aren't you?

being a fan might be a choice for you.

I expected a different coaching staff. one that has a team well prepared and firing on all cylinders. one that goes for the throat and wants to put a team away.

I didn't get that. I got more of the same.

Going for th throat got the last guy fired.

not very hot. the ashes will have cooled down by the time the new coach is hired in January.

Overreacting to a game against a FCS opponent? Yeah this is thebullspen.

I'm pretty sure last year we waxed the floor with our lower FCS and FBs opponents, look how that season went.

not overacting... 1st season same record as previous coach. 2nd Season no bowl game. If he doesn't make a bowl gam eor BCS game even in 3rd season...people will start questioning the HC.

No real cause for concern. The game was never really in doubt and if you look at some scores from across the country even top 25 teams struggled with their FCS and lower tier FBS schools. Just be glad we aren't Pitt today :roflmao:

I think Holtz's point was that he is known as a great guy and very media friendly and he is saying that all really doesn't matter if you aren't winning.

Basically- it is 'terrible' that it doesn't matter how nice you are if you aren't winning. He didn't mean that is it 'terrible' that it is only about winning.

That appears to be pretty much he meant in the context of the conversation .... unless you go through life as a chronic complainer.
