All USF campuses closed for Monday. Only thing open are the medical clinics.

Making it to class in some wind and rain, not so bad if you live on campus, dawn on the rain boots and a rain jacket and go get soaked... now if you have to drive to campus... totally different. Campus should closed.

I am going to laugh my ass off at every student who complained when (1) they get slammed with having to make up the work lost, (2) they realize they are still paying tuition for not going to class, and (3) the weather turns out no where near as bad as they thought.

Just looking at those facebook comments, you would think that Tampa was going to be directly hit by a Cat 5 and that no one at USF has ever gone through a storm.

I'm glad that USF came to its senses... since USF is a commuter school a lot of students would have to cross the bridges, and IF it gets bad tomorrow this will be a major safety issue.

Back when I was young, we didn't even have Categories. I had to walk 5 miles in 125 mile an hour winds to get to school. Had to eat a smoked mullet samwich, and were were only able to afford Busch returnables. That's what it was like to the old day. Man it's blowing a blue streak outside right now.

:roflmao:

We didn't have tropical storms in Pa, we just walked 5 miles up hills both way to school and ate chipped ham sammiches.
