This must mean Coach Holtz likes what he sees at TE, inclusive of depth. Edited August 23, 2012 by BullFan98

He saw the writing on the wall, can't blame him. It's impossible for the chips to fall everyone's way every time. THIS

Leavitt would have found more creative ways to get him on the field. Skip and Fitch don't seem to like gadget plays as much. or maybe we just have significantly better TEs

Virgin has met twice with Holtz, including Thursday morning, and has expressed interest in moving down a level to play immediately this season. Virgin redshirted in 2009 and played in 19 games the past two seasons. "I have a lot of respect for Isaac. I understand his situation and what he wants. I'll do whatever I can to help him get it," Holtz said. "I wish him nothing but success with whatever he chooses to do because he is a great young man. I hate to lose him in this program, but I understand where he is and what he's looking for right now." http://www.gousfbulls.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=37319&SPID=2981&DB_LANG=C&DB_OEM_ID=7700&ATCLID=205667984
