When the hell are we going to get our GREEN & GOLD chant back!!?!?! Seriously let everyone at USF athletics know we want our chant back!!!!!!!

Any story which I can recall about college traditions usually tells how traditions happened over time more by accident than design. I am not sure I would be happy with a contrived tradition.

My main complaint has always been the non-stop loud music and ads during breaks. We get a U-S-F chant going and then 50,0000,000 WATTS of NFL speakers drown us out. The crowd's voice has no chance.

1 thing I would like to see is for all the players and coaches assemble at the student section to sing the alma mater with the band after the game.

Didn't they go down to the student section to sing it after the games last year? Or was that the fight song?

They did it last year and it was the alma mater.

Or the "green green green, gold gold gold ... USF"

Or is there a different chant?

Honestly I would prefer the first.. Similar to Tampa..Bay at bucs games.

The first thing they need to do to build tradition is to not orchestrate anything through the P.A. system. Let's have no music through the P.A.... just the announcer. Let the FANS fill in the blanks and make gameday THEIRS.

NOTHING will last that won't come from the grassroots. We have a BAND, for gosh sakes... why do we need piped in music, anyway??

I don't mind the music in the pregame before the band and team takes the field, but after that.... We could do without..
