Apparently Cotey is backing off his comments a bit

John C. Cotey @JohnnyHometeam

Folks, I didn't intend to state so emphatically that Tyler Moore is transferring to USF. I don't know if he is.

More specifically...

Was having a convo with someone with some knowledge, and we were joshing about how college girlfriends always win out. Hence, the tweet.

Tyler Moore Pancake @ 3:30 #73

Looks like he didn't play too much in the games that mattered though...

Very true, I wouldn't compare this guy to Lynch, who is most likely going to be one of our biggest transfer gets along with JPP and Andre Hall.

This would be a really nice get though... first freshman to start for Nebraska's offensive line... ever.

would be a nice replacement for popek after he graduates... assuming the kid is even looking to transfer.

Just is weird at the timing, right at the beginning of practice.

Well, his family will easily see him play.

Could be a serious anchor for 2-3 years!!!

Are players like JPP and Andre really classified as "transfers", in the same vein as Lynch, Dunkley, etc? They were both through with their respective schools when they came here, correct?

Correct

So it would probably be more accurate to compare Lynch to Kawika, TMac, etc ...

This. He may not win the Outland Trophy, but I'm thinking we would be very happy to have him.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
