His dad could have left it at usf not being considered without adding the we dont play in front of full stadium, the big east is trash comments.....

Is there another interview somewhere?

No they weren't... but he laid it all out there yesterday. Dad is calling the shots on this one and he has googley eyes for the supposed big 5.

Would it have been more accurate to state that we rarely play in front of a full stadium? Last sell out I remember was in 2007 against WVU.

The accuracy of the statement isn't what's in play here ... There didn't appear to be a real need to expound any further than we weren't being considered any longer.

There is, assuming that this reason alone was the deciding factor for not having his hometown USF on the list of suitors. Otherwise, I can see how some on here may take that as just trash talk.

And there again, it's just Twitter ********... no formal interview to see if there was a context to what he was saying.

The funny thing is that we have at least two current OL with dads who had very successful NFL careers and other OL who have dads who were successful OL in college, and they had no problem in having their sons play for USF, over some big name schools that had recruited them.

Steve Shankweiler is a top notch o-line coach. Something we never really had while Leavitt was in charge. No one on the planet should complain about Shank teaching their son o-line.
