Why does our OCS have red seats?

;)

The stadium shown in the pic is the old Orange Bowl (RIP). Both USF and Orange Bowl imagery were collected at the same scale.

National recognition will be different if we have a on campus stadium, even Holtz recognizes it.

Yeah, USC and Miami have suffered terribly by not having an OCS.

Apples and Oranges... They do not have the startup issues USF has.

1) Colors for Miami are ok for their stadium and they don't have that many fans - They have money so fans are not important

2) USC plays in a generic stadium not a Bucs oriented (Pro) stadium. Plus, how many years have they been playing football? Rhetorical

3) They have won National Championships and conference championships. USF none

Classic chicken and egg questions and like I said, this is 10 years off in the distance.

The Orange Bowl was basically UM's stadium once Joe Robbie was built. The Coliseum is basically on campus of USC, right across the street. They dont have an NFL team playing there that they have to share with. So you're argument is null.

Anyone got a estimate on what it would cost for USF to do a business cost justification report on whether USF should build and if so when and what size?

Now the question is how do you convince USF Athletics leadership.....

Show demand ... There isn't a big enough demand, yet!

USF has been signing 1 year options on RayJay, they are ready!

I think you are saying that we must build a Stadium the size of Raymond James, we might have the demand for a 40,000 seat stadium, a report could show that.

40-50k would be enough imo. That can be more than loud enough.

Considering we are in the extension phase of the contract, it doesn't surprise me that we are doing a feasibility study. We need to know what are options are before we reach 2016. Plus, it puts pressure on TSA to offer us a good deal to keep us there, rather than build a stadium. It's not just economics that they are dealing with, but politics as well. I want a stadium, but I want what is best for the school first.
