Make good decisions and you will continue to make decisions for yourself. Make poor decisions and others will make decisions for you. Start teaching them early! Exactly ... and in a lot of situations, going pro and forgoing an education at that time, is a good decision. Sadly, it appears that D Scott may not have had the luxury to choose. Considering the FERPA regs, if anybody knew this other than a personal friend of Mr. Scott who got it directly from him, there's some 'splaining to do... Guys... it was mentioned multiple times in both papers as well as here when he declared.... he didn't like college... didn't like to attend class. He made no secret about it. You don't know how hard they're trying. They could be going all out and struggling. Nevermind the fact that a good majority of them have been labeled athletes their entire lives, and as a result have been catered to by the masses. Most goals? Just keep them eligible. They toss aside learning disabilities in the name of eligibility. They put guys and gals who have very limited comprehension skills in college classrooms because they're good football, basketball, soccer, whatever players, ignoring a major academic limitations they have. Not saying that Scott isn't too blame for his academic downfall, he probably is, but you never know. I've seen it enough times.

I hope this set back will reboot his outlook and he can get back in school to finish his degree. BTW, well stated Bausfkid.

And Mike Jenkins says he didn't ask to be traded....when asked if his agent did he was silent. Edited July 31, 2012 by slick1ru2
