Good point ... but that kind of defeats the purpose of having someone declare on here then, doesn't it? ;)

7 people live in one house each have many friends over all the time and their friends over all the time lol really tracking an IP means nothing

I don't think the ncaa gonna put hounds on all them trails considering all potential recruits in the country that dog ain't gon hunt. jMO they would go broke for no reason you'd still have to prove it.

all the ncaa would have to do is look at recruits' twitter accounts and they would see all sorts of illegal contact

They don't really need hounds on all those trails. Just a few manning the phones to receive calls from fans of other teams reporting potential violations ... and trust me, this board is heavily monitored in that regard. B)

Again, we're really just talking about the scenario that started all this discussion ... A recruit coming on this board to announce his commitment and you wouldn't need a hound for that .... but the likelihood of that happening is pretty low.

10 4 AW was investigated for being illegally recruited to his high school. It was as you stated above coaches fabricated a story for the purpose of stopping him from playing. The state and county investigated it took forever but was cleared in the end. Didn't seem to be much to it but it held up things for a long time

anyone can track an IP address... there isn't much you can do with it as they are typically dynamic... on top of that ... your ISP would never give it up unless they were court ordered.
