I don't they would need to track any IP addresses. It wouldn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that a vast majority on this board are USF athletics representatives, based on discussions here and on other boards on the site ... but again, this is really a moot point because the scenario's not happening.

anyone can track an IP address... there isn't much you can do with it as they are typically dynamic... on top of that ... your ISP would never give it up unless they were court ordered.

that would only show cpu location not who's using it still could be anyone

If the address isn't a house, it isn't too hard to pinpoint which person in the house is the cullprit. Is it the 40 year old man that is a huge fan, the 18 year old kid that spends his time on Facebook, his wife that doesn't know football from cricket, or his 90 year old grandmother?

My money's on grandma, too. My mom's 90 this year, one of the biggest sports fans I know. And, if you asked her about compliance, she would tell you to go f*ck yourself. I guess the apple doesn't fall far.....
