This!

I sometimes run sound.

You ALWAYS do a sound check before your performance (including next day repeats) to make sure everything is ok.

Failure to do so is completely unprofessional and any issues in sound can be blamed to the artist's live crew more than the live venue's system

First gig. Not even Disney World was perfect when it first opened.

And UCFers can laugh all they want, cause I'm sure they've never ever had a problem with an event at their arena.

Good point ... We have a glitch, people don't get the full effect of a concert. They have a glitch, people are medevaced out.

it also may be the sound board artist unable to figure out the equipment, everything purchased was top notch. but I think they'll figure it out

imo doesn't matter... sundome should have had this figured out well before. This is terrible PR for our concert biz in the new dome.

Actually it doesn't matter... Production companies and artists aren't listening to an article on TBO.com...

If I was a production company... and i heard about this issue... from TBO or wherever... It would be my first question...

Bingo. I am sure they will work out the kinks before the grand opening. Hopefully Elton John's people don't hear about this.
