Greg Auman is the best. We are lucky to have him cover USF, he does a fantastic job. He covers all sports, keeps up on twitter and really has show a great deal of professionalism.

Thankful we have Greg Auman though. No one has been better or fairer.

Greg does the best job covering USF of anybody in the local media. he takes his beat seriously.

"fairer" is relative, though. he was totally in the bag for Leavitt during the "scandal" and it showed through his writing and his interactions here. relative to McMurphy even bailouts to Goldman Sachs would seem "fair," but how bout some journalistic objectivity here?? jussayin. lol.

Greg waits on facts. In that, he is fair and was fair in the Leavitt deal. McMurphy never let an absence of fact stop him, even if he had to help create the "facts" as he wanted to see them.

Greg is not perfect but he is by far the unanimous best ever to report on the Bulls.

I agree, Greg's seems to be the only sports writer who truly cares about USF;good or bad, he's still been there-

Ppl like Adam, BM, and Ginger-they will come and go...

I worked with a guy who moonlighted as a prep writer for the Trib and he said that Adkins was a douchebag who was full of himself. I don't know if that's true but I figured I would just leave that tidbit right here...
