Next year we'll probably have a top 25-ish class of our own since we'll have a lot of exiting seniors.

However, collectively I would rather have a class of 4 stars over 2 stars. No guarantees just better odds. Also, of the 14 kids committed to USF from rivals 6 are not from Florida so they're irrelevant to the discussion of being out recruited in Florida. The other 8 have Bivins, Montgomery and Price who should be studs. But of the last 5 you have wiggins who ma be a grade casualty, perry who is a 3 year project before he even gets on he field much less contributes, Hamilton who may be better on the OL than he DL where he was recruited and spencer and McCall who should be solid. I think we are doing fine compared to the other conference teams. For an example of great recruiting rankings not transferring to game results, look at recent years from FSU, Miami, ND, and especially Texas. Texas is usually in the top 10, often in the top 5, but have played like a bottom half team the last few years. Go Bulls!

And the article is right - we should be dominating Florida recruiting and somehow we're barely in the equation.

We only have 2 of these guys in the bay area! Not sure if we offered them, but I would assume we did. http://www.tampabay....-top-160/12412/ exactly - this is inexcusable...not even in the conversation for the top bay area talent...not good... Agoholor's only looking at upper echelon BCS schools.

The fact that we did not get Moore and culkin is disappointing because we should be pulling 3-5 guys on any local top 25 list. As for guys like agholor, Matt jones and fowler, it will be hard to get those types of "national" recruits without really winning conference titles.
