Ordinarily you don't like to see many JuCo's. But in this case it had become rather obvious there were depth issues to address at certain positions. This seems to be a good crop of JuCo's at positions of need.

Interesting that the injury to one of our verbals seems to have been a partial driver for signing the two DBs. If that report is accurate, we were counting on a true freshman to make an impact there. That isn't exactly a ringing endorsement for the returnees overall ability.

USF would have signed one of the two defensive backs regardless, but Bivins' injury gave them one more DB with an injury risk, so Bulls opted to take both.
